OUR INSPIRATION

Sant Pranpal Singh Ji, lovingly known as “Pita Ji” by the entire sangat, was born on 17th December 1917 in Shujabad, District Multan (now in Pakistan). From an early age, he dedicated his life to spirituality, service, and the upliftment of humanity. He remained closely associated with Sant Sangat Singh Ji Kamaliye Wale, a revered saint deeply connected to the lineage of Shri Guru Har Rai Ji.

After the Partition of India in 1947, Sant Pranpal Singh Ji migrated to India and lived in Ferozpur, Bathinda, and later Jhansi Cantt (Uttar Pradesh). Throughout his life, he selflessly served the underprivileged, worked tirelessly to eradicate social suffering, and guided the sangat to live according to the teachings of Sikh history and Gurbani as enshrined in Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Recognizing education as the strongest foundation for a progressive society, Sant Pranpal Singh Ji played a pivotal role in promoting quality education. He established Shri Guru Har Krishan Public School and Guru Har Krishan Degree College in Jhansi, with a vision to nurture disciplined, morally strong, and socially responsible individuals.

On 20th April 2001, after fulfilling his divine mission, Sant Pranpal Singh Ji left for his heavenly abode. SPPS School has been established in his revered memory and continues to uphold his ideals by combining academic excellence, moral values, and holistic development. The school remains committed to shaping future generations inspired by his teachings of service, humility, and righteousness.
